I am not saying you are picking Ryan to win as I have never read you say that. However I do think you will be pleased if he did win. Surely you can admit that much. Running towards the fire is not necessarily a good thing, it can be if you win but it might be a stupid thing to do against some fighters. Tank displayed his versatility against Issa Cruz when he broke his hand by boxing him to win the decision. As for Rolly all Tank did was execute the plan. Tank has a great chin but he has learned from the best that the less you get hit the longer you last.

Going back to the Garcia fight with Cool Hand Luke Campbell the only similarity is both Tank and Cool Hand Luke are southpaws but Tank is better, faster and a more complete all round fighter which Garcia will find out. Is Tank the best fighter Garcia has faced? Yes by far. Is Garcia the best fighter Tank has faced? No he most clearly is not. What chance does Garcia have? Many would say a punchers chance but I disagree. Against certain fighters you need more than a punchers chance. If Tank was facing Shakur Stevenson on Saturday I would need to do more soul searching because that is a talent that can run the numbers on you like Tank's mentor Floyd did. Anyway I know both of us and all are looking forward to this.

Of course I will be pleased because I hate a lot of his fans and not without good reason. I don't try to hide that either

I'm not saying running towards the fire is the smart thing to do. Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't. But reacting to a KD like that, the first of his career, shows us he's not just a pretty boy. It shows us he's a pretty boy with man-sized testicles and that he possesses the fire within him.

Look, I've never been one of those who says Twink is just a power puncher. I have eyes and I know he's a skilled boxer/puncher. But my eyes also know when they see fear and there's no mistaking the fact he wasn't just boxing smart against oompa loomp Cruz and club fighter Rolly. He was clearly fearful of their power. His face was a mask of fear whenever they got too close and he was very reluctant and wary of entering into an honest exchange with them.

Is Twink the best fighter Ryan has faced in the pros? Obviously but he's only fought an inactive Luke Campbell up until now. But Twink resume is very poor for a ten year pro. Pedraza is his best win and he's literally the only prime real world champion he's fought in his entire career who was a champion at the weight he fought them at. All the other world champions he's fought were either shot (Gamboa, Cristobal Cruz), dragged up in weight/world champions at lower weights (LSC, Cuellar, Hugo Ruiz, Hector Garcia) or WBA regular champs (Barrios) and there's overlap there too.

There's a hell of a lot of smoke and mirrors with Twink, more so than any other champ I can think of off the top of my head and that doesn't mean he isn't a very good fighter

Olu, I watched Ryan spark common opponent Fonseca out cold eyes wide open voodoo style in 90 seconds with a solitary left hook from hell. The same Fonseca who admitted massive puncher Twink couldn't even legitimately drop and could only get out of there in 7 rounds on a double foul.

I also watched Little Light Punching Leo light Twink up during those early rounds before he served up his chin on a platter for him and if Twink gets hit like that against Ryan he's going to know all about it.

I'm looking forward to it as much as I always look forward to watching boxing at the weekend but it's not a match up that's really got my juices flowing. I was far more excited about watching last week's fight between Big Joe and Big Bang if I'm being totally honest.

I love your honesty admitting you would be happy if Tank lost because you hate a lot of his fans. I don't know what good reason you are referring to but I know as night follows day, that you don't hate me thats for sure. That I do know and I won't tolerate anyone saying such lies about you.

The smoke and mirrors argument does not work with for reasons we have both discussed many times. When Tank knocks Garcia out his detractors will need to find other excuses.

As for Big Bang Zhang who ever made the contest at Queensbury promotion should be sacked. It's not as if we did not how danerous Zhang after he beat up on Hrgovic and the Judges somehow scored it a points victory for Hrgovic.

 I don't hate you at all, Olu. But I do hate many of his fans and I have destroyed many of them many times.

My assessment of Twink's resume is 100% accurate and fair. Very good fighter, very poor resume and it's smoke and mirrors central.

It was a crazy fight to take given Big Joe was, at very worst, one fight away from becoming a full world champion and there was a very good chance he would've been promoted to full champ without even needed to fight for it. But some bright spark decided it would be a good idea to match him up with a 20st murderous punching (with power in both hands) skilled southpaw who is pretty slick and a good counter puncher. Both Big Joe and Hrgovic have iron chins and most HWs would've not have remained vertical or conscious after eating that many power punchers from a savage puncher like Big Bang so why take a risk against someone who can punch like that?

It’s not Tank being gunshy, the guy just has a terrible work rate and chooses to pace himself.
