Will Ryan Rhodes Ever Be World Champion?

He has had a shot a WBO interim title about 11 years ago Otis Grant, Then a WBU fight with Gary Lockett both of which he lost, But recently he beat Jamie Moore and he his EBU Champion which puts him into conention for a world title shot. But it just seems every time he tries to take the step up in class to world level he gets beat.

So Will Ryan Rhodes Ever Be World Champion?

I think he is abit old and if he was going to do it, He would have done it by now.

I don't think so. Not because he is old, he's just not on that level.

Oli, Ive always thought you were Oliver Harrison, Khan and Moores former trainer because you seem to have an intense hatred for Khan.

Since you commented on this thread, Can you please confirm if you are Oliver Harrison or not?

I think you are Oliver Harrison :hey

I'm afraid he won't get the chance. He's good enough, but for how long?

Don't know lightmiddleweight looks pretty stacked now man it looks tough .Cotto Margarito Pacquiao Mosley .I just checked he's 4 wae the WBC and 3 with the IBF tho . IBF looks his best route tho man 2 ain't rated and some American guy Corneluis Bundrage the champion and number 1 another American Sechew Powell .Margarito and Alvarez ahead of him in the WBC rankings tho that's the one Margarito and Pacquiao are fighting for f--k knows about the WBA Cotto the champ tho man.

Bundrage is the one to go for.

If he could get a crack at the IBF champ, and get the fight in England I would give him a chance but he would want to hurry up.

Yep, if K9 Bundrage can pick up a strap so can Rhodes. A lot of things have to be in his favor though admittedly.

No chance. Even Craig McEwan has a better chance.

    Ok, that's not true.

He has to get his shot sooner rather than later, which has applied since he beat Jamie Moore, and that was a year ago now, fought nobodies since then.

The Rhodes that beat Jamie Moore is easily good enough. He just needs the shot and I can't understand why it hasn't happened for him. It makes me sad because I'd really love to see Ryan fight for a World title.

Can he pick up a strap? Possibly.

A true 'World champ?' No chance IMO.
