Canelo already carries a huge size advantage with similar skills as Cotto and even better some other areas... and power advantage... he is also faster, throws some beautfil counters and Cotto will be on the backfoot againt the much larger Canelo who will counter the the boxer that is cotto with some huge power shots that Cotto will succumb to as most of Canelos foes once they feel that power its survival time, and since Cotto does not carry the same defense Canelo does bad news for cotto, which is not the best but is better then cotto's all this leads me to believe that It would be an even match up going in... Of course Cotto's experience will help him a lot, but Canelo facing a shot minded fighter like Cotto carries a huge advantage going in... I see Canelo by late TKO... to much power... Cotto is a lil man at 154... Canelo is big for 154..

It's funny no on at 154 Is really a solid champ, not even cotto who got to be in the top 3 for facing Foreman LMAO, and defending against a shot Mayorga... LMAO There is a reason

Lara Kirkland Cotto Molina Cotto are in the top of the division because they seem the most promising even though none have really done much. 154 has so many answers to give Cotto will be protected for a PAC rematch so he is out of the equation he won't fight a GBP fighter or anyone his Promoter won't let him.. all the others will eventually be matched up Kirkland and Molina is the beggining.

    Accomplishments

    Cotto: Mayorga Foreman
    Lara: Williams Molina
    Molina: Lara Cintron
    Canelo:Cintron Rhodes
    Kirkland:Angulo

Before Miguel even held as many fights as Canelo he had already faced a solid Maussa,N'dou,Bailey and Corley, avenged 2 amateur losses(Pinto/Abdullaev), earned the WBO light ww belt by an impressive come from behind KO of unbeaten Ricardo Torres, took Malignaggi's 0 and destroyed Quintana(Canelo's Chavez Jr).

Canelo is a good fighter with a bright future, but I still dont understand the need to discredit Cotto's whole career by comparing it against a prospect("champion") who is yet to prove his worth. The hate around here for Miguel is disgusting.
