K9 has improved but he still has a weak chin, so any big punch can turn the fight around. Powell has been slipping mentally IMO, i don't know what he was going through against Latimore but it seemed like he either wasn't focused or just mentally broke down. I mean why are you staring at the ceiling while you're being punched in the face and body repeatedly? There was a time where he did that in the rematch and Latimore almost blasted him again. I do know though, that K9 has been looking better and has the momentum advantage. I bet his confidence is at its highest peak after blowing out Spinks.
Very good fight and I'd call it a 50/50 fight. I do agree that K9's confidence is at an all time high but Powell is a serious threat. He can box and punch, and with K9's chin being questionable its very even.
I think we're gonna see a spectacular KO from Powell. K9 will fold and there goes his 5 minutes as a paper champ
