Buncey you need to work some magic. Who the hell would rather see Holt v Bradley than some of these potentially truly great matchups in the lightweight division ..
Its like preferring to watch Joe Calzaghe beat a washed up Roy Jones than watch Erik Morales take on Marco Antonio Barerra ..

Setanta are bending over to the casual 'Football Supporter' boxing fan. They hype up the Joe Calzaghe fights as if they were Ali/Frazier, they make out that David Haye v Monte Barrett was going to be a classic and then they dont show 'real' quality like Juan Diaz v Katsidis or Marquez v Casamayor

Bunce im a fan of yours but your turning into an 'establishment' kiss ass bullshitter, the kind of which ITV specialise in. The kind of crap Barry Mcguigan used to come out with on ITV with Khan was amazing considering he knows what he's talking about. You expect it from John Champion and Duke Mckenzie because they are firmly in the pocket of Frank Warren but i didnt expect Mcguigan to sell out .. And now you Steve, in the pocket of the money men of Setanta, trying to convince true boxing fans that 'bum, setup' fights like Monte Barrett v Haye is going to be brilliant or that Roy Jones v Calzaghe is going to be a classic ..
And Buncey will you stop kissing everybody's arse that comes on your show and ask some tough questions, your turning into the Michael Parkinson of Boxing .. Clinton Woods was on your show 2 weeks ago promoting his fight and you let him get away with saying, 'I knew on the way to the ring i was going to lose that fight, I just had a bad day at the office'. You AGREED with him and rubbed his ego, instead of telling him that every time he has stepped up to any kind of class he hasnt been able to cut it .. Come on Steve give us a bit of hard opinion and controversy, stop kissing ass !!

 

I'm looking forward to seeing Andrade v Tsypko too. Coz I wanna see Andrade get another crack at Bute. I'd love to see the lightweight tourney too but I'll get it next day on download so not too bad.

And Bradley v Holt will be fascinating, really hoping for a Bradley ko.

 

Yeah point taken, i was unfair but Setanta bills itself as the 'home of boxing' and they miss more decent fights than they show. Setanta is just basically another manipulation tool of the promoters, SKY 10 years ago was far better for showing fights .. Holt/ Bradley is a decent fight i suppose but dont tell me its anywere near what the lightweight division is offering up in the next few months .. And i stand by my point that Steve Bunce kisses ass way too much on his show because he wants his show to last, instead of really putting his balls on the line and asking people tough questions, that may wash with 'casual' fans but real boxing fans want more ..... For example, why is Bunce kissing Maloney's, Wood's and Arthur's arse's ?? These 3 are ripe for being tough questioned
