Will setanta keep on showing the Big Fights

I think they will, they seem to have a big commitment to boxing which is really good. They actually make an effort to give good matches, rather than the succession of undefeated young prospects fighting bums with ten times as many losses as wins.

 

Hopefully they'll renew the Top Rank contract when it expires and maybe sign a deal with Golden Boy as well. I'd like them to show more domestic stuff as well.

 

Hopefully they will pick up all the bits that Sky miss and show us all the great shows we would not usually get to see, kinda like what they have been doing.

 

Anyone know if Setanta are showing Hopkins-Pavlik?

Correct, they should focus mainly on the big fights but show the odd domestic card.

PS. Has Derry Matthews left Warren then? If so, who has he signed for?

I enjoy Sky's Friday night boxing a lot

 

i hope setanta start showing a few more fights that are on in america, i believe they missed the recent katsidis fight, plus the nate campbell fight, both are great boxers (katsidis one of the most exciting!) but dont have any exposure in the UK, apart from katsidis vs graham earl.

Anyway why dont they just start a channel focusing mainly on boxing, where they can show classic fights, have discussions, regular repeats of fights over the last month etc.
