Shane beat Margo and Mayo inside the distance in his last two fights. Both arguably were big strong dangermen. Does Shane's speed, power, stamina and boxing brain give him a chance against against the favourite Floyd Mayweather? He's a good opponent for Floyd right?
The fight probably goes the distance or Mosley wins inside? :-((

I see no way for a shot Mosley to win this one to be honest. Mayweather by comfortable UD.

You know i'd love to think Shane has a chance. Im not a huge fan of either and I honestly dont dislike either. But its Mayweather-Mosley, no matter the outcome i'd like to think we're going to see something that 20 years from now HBO is doing a "Legendary Nights" on. But to be honest I could see this unfortunately turning into a Mayweather win borefest. I have a hard time comprehending Floyd stopping Shane but since the Margarito win Shane has refused to fight anyone other than Pac or Mayweather. It makes me wonder, does he know something we dont. Does he realize that the Margo win might be over-rated (we all know the possibility of the foreign substance being the cause of Margo looking like a beast against Cotto and beyond that a slow Margo was just custom built for Shane to beat). I mean the refusal on Shane's part to take a fight in well over a year except one of these 2 makes me wonder if he doesnt "feel old" for lack of a better term and realizes this is his last big payday chance.

He agreed to fight Berto. It was canceled at the last minute. Other than that, I pretty much agree.

Mosley's trying to end his career of with a BANG! so he's gonna give it his all win or lose. Him beating Mayweather isn't out of the realm of possibility but highly unlikely.

Here is what will happen Mosley will lose this fight badly ,but won't retire ..He'll fight someone like Zab Judah to jump start his career again and fight one more fight thereafter and by then he would be pushing 40 and then retire...A true prediction.

I pick Mosley by close decision.Floyd will not engage enough times and run too much, the judges will favour the aggressor and initiator in a close fight . It is very hard or impossible to knock Floyd out.

    Some Facts:
    - Mosley is the toughest opponent for Floyd in his entire career.
    - Mayweather has been cherrypicking in the ww division while Mosley has always been looking for the biggest challenges.
    - Mayweather has an edge in speed and reflexes but at age 33 it is not huge.
    - Mayweather will have to show heart and fight, which he did not against Castillo. There is a question mark.
    - One of Floyd's biggest strengths are his adjustments in the ring, however, this will be neutralized by Mosley's trainer.

He is going to fight his heart out but his legs and his willingness to brawl when he starts to get clipped will do him in, he will come on strong at the end because thats what shane does and he will probly be down on the cards by the 9th so he will be pressing even harder
for the KO thats where he will be the most dangerous to floyd because the ring rust would offically be gone, but will his legs still be up to hitting a moving target?

I think so, Mosley is clearly being over looked in this fight, I see nothing that Floyd has done to suggest he will stop Mosley, or dominate, you cant really say that there is no shot for Mosley when clearly shane has looked spectacular since moving down in weight.
Other than the hicups with Forrest and Winky, the only other person to beat Shane was Cotto and even then that fight could have been a win for Mosley.
one thing I do know if shane hurts Floyd he will finish him, there are not many fighters who have been hurt by Shane who have made it to the finish line most ended up being stopped so if he hurts Floyd here I expect a stoppage.....
I also want to point out that Shane is attempting to secure his legacy and has also been wanting to establish himself as one of the great fighters with the nick name "Sugar" this fight is the perfect opportunity for him to be ranked up there with Robinson and Leonard and beleive Shane will take full advantage of it...
I got shane in this fight, Floyd has been on the record to say if I drop you ima finish you, but that didnt happen with Marquez, he backed off and went back into his saftey net..... also Marquez was able to hurt him a bit with a good right hand early in that fight, and this is a guy who was brought up two weight classes higher than his best fighting a man who dishonoured his contraced weight agreement and some how the bigger "Better more talented man" Could not get Marquez out of there....

Im simply waiting until the fight.... Floyd is in for a hard nights work
