Will Shane take the Paul Williams challenge?

What happen if Mosley choose to fight Berto next instead of Williams? Berto ain't a bigger name then Williams and is not a better fighter then Williams. Also Mosley will get less money fighting Berto then he is on fighting Williams.

I believe he did say no. He already admit he won't fight Williams cause Williams style will make him look bad.

 

I have a feeling Mosley won't be getting shitty on in this forum if he fights Berto next instead of Williams. Cause people will say "this is a stay busy tune up fight" and blah blah bs excuse.

Maybe you didn't hear the last episode of OTG in which Mosley stated he won't consider a fight against PTP until later on in both of the careers. Mosley said that like Hopkins he sees himself fighting into his 40's and it would be then when the two of them would potentially face each other. Maybe now you'll acknowledge that your previous sentiments that PTP is ducking Mosley is complete lunacy and face the fact that if anyone is ducking anybody here then it's clearly Mosley ducking PTP.

 

He already said he is leaving a Williams fight till last, he wants Pacman and then Mayweather, listen to On the grind radio show, he said it himself.

 

Mayweather won't fight him. Pacquiao won't fight him unless it's at 142 pounds in which Mosley would be weight drain.

 

Exactly, Mosley already gave Forrest and Winky a shot and looked what happened, those guys made their name of beating Mosley. Williams is just trying to do the same. I love Williams but he is not going to get anybody to fight him unfortunately, he might have to try guys like Kermit Cintron etc. Which is sad. He should fight Dzinzuruk.

Looks like he is in a tight spot and if nobody will fight him including Mayweather then he might be forced to take a Williams fight but I think Mosley knows that for him to beat Williams he will probably need to knock him out and that is the reality of the situation. Its quite sad how we wont get to see some of the fights that should be getting made not being made. I definitely want to see who Mayweather fights after Marquez because imagine Pac lost his next fight and then Mosley fought someone and lost and if Cotto lost to Clottey then who would Mayweather fight, there would be only 1 viable fight for him to really prove his worth at this point in his career. I just hope that the big guns are still on top so he is forced to fight them all. But I cant see it happening, he worms himself out of every real challenge.

 

Who's making excuses? I am just pointing out what Mosley could be thinking about the whole situation. He has given guys in Williams position shots before and he has come off worse off so he wants to cash in and at the same time beat the so called pound for pound guys and only then will he look at a Williams fight.

If Mosley fought Berto instead of Williams it would be giving Berto a chance to make a name for himself too off Mosleys name. Mosley doesn't have anything to gain by fighting Berto, nor does he have anything to prove by fighting Williams because Mosley has already earned the respect from the hardcore fight fans.

The only reason why he should fight Berto and Williams is to elevate his status in boxing even higher and to add more dollars to his bank account but it is not a necessity to fight these guys.

He wants to beat the 2 guys who are occupying the number 1 spot, pac and mayweather, those fights make the most sense right now and the other 2 fights can be done later down the line after he takes care of business.

 

If Mosley cant get Cotto, Floyd or Manny then yeah I tink he would do it. I will never get on here and say that Shane is scared of anyone! I dont think the man has ever been scared except maybe of his wifes divorce lawyer and his father!

What he is doing is trying to secure a big fight against someone that the average fight fan knows......PW aint that guy!

But I hope all the rest say no to him because Paul would be a fantastic fight.
