Will Showtime release the real ppv number if it was 700k?

They do not release his dirty drug tests, why would they release poor PPV numbers?

There was not much hype leading up to the fight and undercard was terrible. $78 for this ppv

You could be right. Fighting twice a year over saturates the market and his events are no longer like the "Super bowl" of boxing.

With that said Manny has consistently fought twice a year and for a long time was averaging a million+ in US PPV buys. Had PAC taken the Floyd route and only fought once a year it's possible PAC could have improved his numbers per PPV event. Overall his PPV numbers would've taken a bit but his average probably would have seen a spike.

Both Floyd and PAC are still the two top PPV draws in the world but we've seen their numbers begin to decline which isn't a big surprise but it's a major topic of discussion in our sport for whatever reason.

If it was close to a mil showtime would have released numbers. So I think the 772 reported by glaser and espn deportes is more accurate. Who knows tho. I think ppv numbers are not really a fans concern. Floyd talks and his followers eat it up and now ppv numbers define a fighter apparently...only makes sense that when the numbers drop his numbers just won't be released for fear that If it was factually revealed that floyd did 700k ppv buys a lot of his horribly shallow fans would consider him a failure and move on to the next big mouth flashy **** talker.
