    It's a good read...

"Whatever happens on the night, it’s going to be a war between the most admirable of combatants. If two fighters have ever earned the right to be comfortable in their own skins, it’s these two.

So there’ll be no clown-ish antics in the build-up, no mock punch-ups or ankle biting, and not even a war of words. There will be respect, and honesty, and probably the best damn fight we’ll see for many a year."

It bashes on boxers who rely on too much hype, clowning to sell their boring fights...

    Some more excerpts:

"Wow. No face-off. No stinging insults, no invocation to chow down on members of the immediate family, or to remove sundry body parts, or even to bring a bit of business to a Vegas morgue. The two warriors shook hands, smiled at each other, and wished each other the best of luck."

    :D

Size will matter it is one of the factors that everyone is debating over leading up to the fight weather it will be a major factor is yet to be seen but it will play it's part.
On a side note Roach is not what I would call showing respect to Cotto. every week brings out a new and more outrageous comment.

Freddie Roach, as good as he is, is an arrogant ****. Although I do find him quite humorous

People think PBF is bad, but Roach is as big a trash talker as they come.

    ---------------------------

To answer the thread.... no I dont think size matters in this fight., it is null imo. Manny has the speed, power, footwork & stamina to play with Cotto all night.

People need to stop treating this fight like a david & goliath. I truly wont be suprised if Manny stops him.

    Anyhow....im rooting for Cotto.
