His career is already over. I hope he doesn't get hurt. He is not the Shane that faced a faded Vargas and Canolo is obviously not faded.

Alvarez fighting a guy that is considered shot, and not stopping him, or atleast giving him a 12 round beating would be bad for his image. I can see Alvarez looking to keep the pressure on Mosley, use his younger/youthful hand speed to catch Mosley, even if Shane looks to counter Canelo's aggression eventually one will slip through and buzz Mosley. It might not stop him but it will take whatever fighting spirit he has left. Canelo doesn't just throw a few power punches once in a while, he backs it up with a good amount of volume.

Mosley will mail it in like he has in his last three fights after he feels how strong this young lion is. In his own mind he is done as a prize fighter. The only thing left is the prize so he will walk out one more time for a paycheck. After this selling his name will be over as no one will believe he is live in any match up. I hope he doesn't get hurt because given the great fights he has been in over the years he deserves better than going out fighting for money well past his prime.

Agreed. I like both fighters but unfortunately I gotta go with Alvarez to finish Mosley once and for all. Not because I am not a fan of Shane, but with him as an option for some of the better boxers out there, the longer it will take for the elite to face off against eachother.

Shane will go for broke, to kill or to die by the sword. Canelo may retreat and win on points but I believe he will engage in a short and brutal punchout which will see one of my favourites of all time, Sugar Shane, stretched and retired from boxing.

Canelo has been fed tomato cans and has never faced a truly live opponent. Unfortunately Shane Mosley circa 2012 is not a live opponent.

This fight will go the distance. Shane loses in definite but not dominant UD.

Shane don't have it anymore. He starts getting tagged and he'll go into survival mode and then we'll have to listen to his woman calling him a ***** during the fight again.

no he wont take a beating, but he will NOT win a round and be happy to be there and will be full of compliments for the kid after its over
shane is good enough to not get hurt if his goal is not to win...and he wont try to win after the first round and his 9-1 underdog status will be on the money

Last time everyone said Shane was getting beat up was against Margacheato & we all know what happen then. The sugarman nows this fight is basically his last throw at the dice. I like Canelo but he's still developing as a fighter imo. There is a chance for the sugarman.

Most of the time careers end because of money reasons, not beatings. The fact that he's still fighting after so many terrible performances to me means that he'll be here for a while.

Canelo needs to be busy. That's how you expose a shot fighter. Don't let him think. Just get right on him and let your hands go ala Glen Johnson vs Roy Jones

mosley hasnt gotten better at age 40 , he hasnt won in 3 years and other than beating vargas 6 years ago, he hasnt ever been a force or factor at 154. but fighting a 21 year old 39-0 champ and you are picking shane to win? gee, that makes sense to me :rofl

I expect Alvarez to beat Mosley, perhaps by stoppage, but he is very young without much experience, though you never know.
