It's not on PPV in the US. Everything depends on the promotion. Ward and Dirrell are okay names but not properly built up, so their breakthrough could be this tournament. And that's the problem. If they were already established stars, Super Six would absolutely ROCK at the ratings. It's gonna be pretty popular anyway, but super popularity depends on the American fighters' performance.

It's a fun tourney but not PPV worthy in the US.It is a great opportunity to see if Dirrel and Ward are the real deals, and I think Ward will surprise alot of people who believe Kessler will steam roll over him.It is also a great way for Showtime to get more subscribers to their channel.PPV-forget it.

If an american makes it to the final I can see it being pretty popular there.

It won't make very many newspapers, I'd imagine. I'd be surprised if even the fights involving US fighters make the nightly highlight shows unless a title is involved (not sure; I'm in Canada and boxing rarely shows up on nightly sports shows).

It's a coup for Showtime for certain, but I don't see it making much splash outside boxing circles, unfortunately.

Ward and Dirrell arent known in the States, and Taylor is seen as shot. So is it big here??? Not really, but to be honest very few fights are big here anymore. It would do very poor PPV numbers if there were to put in on, 150k maybe/per fight.

It's on free TV here, so there's your answer. It's not a big PPV event.
