He will likely look out of shape (for a fighter) and his performance will be very poor Tarver was never a huge puncher at 175, nor does he have a very large frame like Adamek where he could add muscle mass. His walk around weight according to him is 215. So his fighting max fighting weight is cruiser, not HW. Sorry state of affairs for boxing that he is making a "comeback"
I think he's protesting the fact that it's televised at all. I'd have to agree...although I guarantee that people will tune in because of his name alone...thus, sadly, making it TV worthy.
Tarver is a piece of trash. The man ducked Adamek in sparring FFS! Same gym same weight yet they never sparred! :rofl I hope Adamek gives him a HW money fight now and rams the stake into Tarver's non-HOF career via brutal, concussive KO.
i think he'll win a couple of decision if he fights cans, if he goes up against a real contender then the most probable ending would be tarver sprawled face first in the canvas
I'm going to (v)bet against him, no doubt about that. Can't see him anywhere near world level in LHW, CW and certainly not HW anymore. Might as well make a few (v)bucks on his demise.
Nope, I expect Nagy to win, and I won't be surprised as the fight will be shorter than his sister sings the national anthem.
You can still bet on the under 9.5 rounds, that's about every possible outcome except points with only 1½ minute swingoption. :good
