An ITV highlights package would be a possibility given the UK time of the cards. Would be a good way for boxing to get back onto ITV regularly.

I have always been curious about this-do a large number of boxing fans actually stay up until 4 in the morning to watch these fights?
I find this so hard to believe, but I may be wrong.

Primetime (when they around) usually got around 40k-60k buys for their American events.

So there is an audience but not a massive one.

Cheers-I suspected it was only the hard core boxing fan who would torture themselves to watch a fight at this un-Godly hour.:good

Sky+ can make it a whole lot easier! For the Boxnation stuff (I don't have Sky+ in my flat), they usually show a complete repeat at 10am the next day so I catch that. Sky do something similar but it's edited which bugs me

Side note but just noticed ITV have nicked Mark Pougatch who did C5's boxing coverage

He's freelance from what I can remmember.

Haymon is also running shows on Spike TV in the States. Viacom own Spike TV so it would seem logical that Channel 5 would at least have first refusal on the those rights.

Always watched in the middle of the night, but since Sky+ I enjoy watching in the morning and whizzing through all the padding. I used to hate it in the middle of the night watching the same clips which have been played to death in the weeks before
