i think that this event would have been better is they it was promoted either in the pi or mexico. i don't think it will sell as much at sacramento but i think it is a really good card.

    your thoughts?

your right though it wont sell much here becuse no one really cares about the lower weight class, but it would be bigger in the pi or mex.

But anyways i've got my frist row tickets already,im so amped to go,cant harrly wait.

its gonna be tough, boxing in general doesnt really spark too much interest from where im from, its kinda like a vintage art. in my are other then very observant boxing fans (which are very few) nobody knows cotto, calzaghe, taylor or hatton. i dont think casual fans even know who the heavy weight champion is.

they should have done the event in cali. it fill be flooded with flag-bearing mexicans and filipinos. i like the card. i think it would be a nice night of boxing. i just can't help but imagine what would happen if pac-jmm was the main event for a card like that. it would have been tasty.

there was news swirling around that the world cup was supposed to be in cebu. i was saving some money to be able to get a flight and buy a ticket but sadly, it was cancelled. you're lucky knockout. i hope the card is worth it

i think the 4 supporting bouts are 50-50 but i feel that gerry is a little too old to beat johnny. if he did nopt retire for two years after losing to tokuyama, i know he would have gotten himself another world title, i just don't know if it's still possible. boomboom on the other hand is technically better than de leon but it's proven that it is relatively easy to put boomboom on the canvass and we also know that de leon is one hell of a puncher so i think mexico takes the main events
