I like the guy but won't really miss him. In fact I was hoping he would retire as I think he was on the slide much worse than some would accept and also because the only meaningful fight out there was Dawson....which I just couldn't see coming off.

OK, I'd enjoy watching him make Froch look amateurish but there's no financial sense in making the fight.

Everbody who voted no, blatantly will miss Calzaghe, they loved hating on him so much it will be impossible for them to get through their day without talking about Joe Calzaghe.

i will go against everyone and say yes i will miss him.

i was at his first ever fight 15 years ago and followed his career from that time period and i am sad to see him retire.

Yep, but it was the right time to go and so few fighters get it right.

I feel the same way. Joe was a great fighter. But he should've challenged himself a lot more than he did.

anyone who votes no on this poll is not a true sportsman and aught to be ashamed of themselves as any top boxer should be missed wheither you like him or not.

nope, i liked him and all but.....his other fans made it hard for me to be a fan of him, they're all just far too annoying

so now i'm glad he's retired, i think it's better for boxing, out with the old, in with the new...
