That bull**** is so overdone its really not funny, if you think Roy is "shot" you're crazy, he got KTFO by a good puncher and by a guy who was in the right place at the right time(tarver) and has since restored his health and still has the intelligence, and all the natural talent we've come to love and appreciate

Chris Byrd is shot, Ali when he fought Holmes and so on. Judge a fighter by his most recent performace..not what children say. The fact is and we all know it Roy chose to make a show out of trinidad as he knew it was merely a stepping stone and a payday. How can we deny the fact that Roy still has everything hes always had? It didnt go anywhere, people are content in bullshitting themselves. People are doubting Jones after he showed us that he still has the speed, superior timing, reflexes, and intelligence. Now blame Slopkins all you want but Joe looked nothing short of shitty in his previous performance. Are people calling Joe shot? No. Well why not he eeked out an ugly SD against a 43 year old man. If ones right why is the other wrong?

Well if Calzaghe would have lost to Hopkins you can be sure he would be called shot

my point exactly and Joe wouldve/is far from shot. How can we deny how well Jones has looked lately? My one concession for Jones is his stamina isnt quite what it used to be, but he's just as quick and in my opinion more intelligent. The Trinidad fight was for show and fun, Jones will be all business for the Calzaghe fight, bet your ass he is coming to ruin the pride of wales:yep

No, people don't have a lack of regard for Calzaghe at this point because he's been a winner, or beaten anybody. Calzaghe gets hated on because the technical flaws in his game were exposed in the Hopkins fight. People think he's **** overrated, they think he hits like a girl... They don't hate on him because he has a flashy lifestyle or because he's the #1 Stunna, LOL.

It depends on how Jones performs, how Calzaghe takes care of him relative to how Jones performs, how Calzaghe acts and speaks about himself after, and Calzaghe's fans.

The hate WILL increase if his fans run around saying "what happens in this fight is similar to what would happen in their primes"... Like they did with Bernard Hopkins.

Yeah those technical flaws. That`s why he got so many losses on his record cause of those technical flaws. :think

He hasn't fought the sort of competition to expose the technical flaws the way that Hopkins did - for alot of people that's EXACTLY the point. The flaws have been there, but the others weren't able to capitalize on them. Calzaghe has a very good chin, extreme bravery, a tremendous will to win - and that has carried him through alot of hairy situations. Joe has been caught clean, doing all sorts of stupid **** over the years, but he's a pure warrior. That's why he's undefeated, not because he's flawless.

Get a reality check son and have look at the LONG list of nobodies on Hopkins title reign. The biggest names were blown up welters.

calzaghe cant win in this fight- if he scrapes past they'll say he scraped past two faded fighters he avoided in his prime who would have easily dealt with him in his prime
if he wins convincingly people will hate him because jones is held in very high regard and no-one will wanna see him get embarassed
i honestly think joe would be held in higher regard if he would have just grown his minerals and stepped in with pavlik win or lose he'd have got my respect

Joe cant win with the haters...RJJ is a superb fighter past his prime...if JC wins the haters will say "oh but Roy was shot anyway so that proves nothing" and if he loses they'll say "told you he was crap"

Haters will always hate, whine n ***** making excuses.
