Will the extra 3 pounds help Garcia or Peterson?

    I think that Garcia will most likely KO weak chinned Peterson, who looked totally helpless against Matthysse.

    But will the extra 3 pounds help some fighter here?

    Will the extra weight bring Garcia more power?

    Will the extra weight help Peterson to take more punishment?
    I mean when a fighter loses a lot of weight his punch resistance goes down... So, maybe Peterson can take more punches when he did not have to lose the last three pounds?

    I believe it helps Peterson more, Itg will add to his power. the 3 pounds might slow Danny down a little.

    If one struggles to cut weight on paper, it is Garcia (did this for Salka and admitted to moving up slowly). He also dictated the terms as the A-side. So obviously it favors him in some way. The logical guess would be that he struggles to make weight at 140 so perhaps his camp will go a lot easier with the extra few pounds spotted.

    Peterson is getting knocked out regardless of weight.

    I don't think Garcia is as powerful, accurate or the finisher Matthysse is and will struggle big time with Lamont if he can't KO him.
