    Why not?

All divisions had their share of dark moments and the heavyweight division isn't exactly beyond crap either, it used to be but slightly improved with guys like Povetkin, Haye, Arreola, Adamek rising lately. Yeah well, Arreola isn't exactly rising but he's not out of the picture either, he can still bring some entertaining fights.

I thought people demanded that the super middleweight division be removed in the past few years, what happened now?, I'm sure no one expected it to shine the way it is being arguably the richest division in boxing. All divisions have their share of dark years but eventually shine.

i think it wil be good as soon as the klits retire and i dont think there has to be an american in the mix it would help but we just need good competitive fights doesnt matter where they are from at the end of the day the klits are just a match up nightmare for everyone plus they take no risk they are built like herculese and have the mindset of floyd mayweather thats not what we want out of our heavyweights it would help for us if there would be a charismatic american to make it cool to box again cause i think the nfl is hurting the division more than anything could you imagine if ray lewis or antonio gates started boxing as a teenager rather than put all their time into football

I really don't care who's in there right now. I would just like to see more exciting and competitive fights in the division. Not really concerned if it's an American. I think we've dominated the division long enough to really worry about that. Especially with the state it's in, but there are always 'LOW' points in the division. We are in a downturn right now, it will pick up, it always does.

Divisions wax and wane in terms of strength and quality. Before you know it, we'll have a generation of skilled, in-shape, and talented heavyweights. But imo, not in the next 5 years.

Once we get the belts back from Russia and get all the good contenders out of the US/Wall St. Prison Industry the US heavyweight division will bounce back and, happy days will be here again.

The important thing is to NEVER allow bum countries like Russia to recapture the belts, ever again. The reason the division is so dead is because the Russians do not know how to put together and throw good fights. They are much better at giving steroids to children and hoping one of the thousands grows close to 7 feet tall. In one case, two Ukranian girls took to the Roids well and and looked less like cavemen than another failed KGB Roid experiment, Valueav.

Not to worry. The US HW division will rise again and save the whole damn world from this Russian embarrassment of a HW division.

If we could get the match ups the fans want to see it would be fine. Hardly anyone wants to fight the Klitschko's though. Haye, Povetkin, and Valuev don't want to fight them.

The main problem is the two top fighters will never fight eachother, so they just feed off each other's left overs. Makes the peeking order alittle more complicated.

If the Klitschkos fought like young Mike Tysons people (even Americans) would love them. But whilst they fight like prototype robots and dominate with size alone the HW division will suffer.

Equally, if the brothers weren't around and we had Adamek, Haye, Povetkin, Chambers, Chagaev and Peter fighting each other for the gold it would probably be considered a good division now.
