Yes i realise that the fighters weighed in at approx 179-181 in these fights BUT i know, you know, and everybody knows that they are light heavyweights who can easily make 175 fighting just above 175 to make the title fights look legit for the IBO 200lb title. Greens last 2 fights make the IBO look extremely poor imo, but you might disagree with that.

Now let me guess, Danny will defend his IBO cruiser belt next against who ?
I bet it's another light heavy and they both weigh in just over 175. Green will NEVER fight a legit top level genuine cruiser so why the charade acting like he's a top cruiserweight ?

Sugar Ray Robinson weighed little more than a JM/W when he fought Joey Maxim for THE LH/W Championship of the World. Argue that one instead.. Crazy sanctioning!!!

Unlike Mundine, these 3 fighters were to match themselves with evenly weighted men.

They were Cruiserweight bouts no doubt, just with contracts that both fighters could not weigh over 182 pounds.

 

So you believe Danny Green is one of the best cruiserweights in the world ?

And the 2 fighters he has just defeated how would you classify them as cruiserweights ?

And finally after you answer the first 2 questions can you tell me how legitimate the IBO cruiser title is iyho ?

Yes they were cruiser weight bout technically. If Pacman were to fight Clottey at an agreed upon catchweight of 142 lb then it would be a welterweight title fight but also a bit of a farce also. Agree ?

If an organisation had a vacant 154 belt on offer and Zab Judah fought Ricky Hatton at an agreed 148 to make it look legit then something like this imo would be a farce also.

Do you yourself as a hardcore boxing fan, as we all are on here, not feel that Green's 2 cruiserweight title fights were a bit of a farce especially the Dominguez fight.
Yes the fight with Roy Jones was a good matchup imo but to classify it as a cruiserweight world title fight. Plleeaaasssseeee

 

Yeppp mate sure do feel that way...i have stated it quite alot on this forum.
The Dominguez fight to classify that as a cruiserweight title fight was shocking to the say the least, Jones fight was a great win for Danny but it wasnt enhanced at all by the paper title he bought.

Green's camp have been in negotiations with several highly rated men (none being from Argentina) and now appears to be ducked by Bhop also. His current standing remains questionable, as does 75% of current Champs in ALL weight classes. Is Danny Green the Best.. or one of the best??? He's no worse than any man at his weight. Fighting at 199lbs might be a test to be seen, and very unlikely... Regardless, he is the IBO Cruiser Champ.

Green IS a World Cruiser Champ.

How would I rate the last two opponents?? Precisely perfect for Green in the outcome. Great matches that worked in Greens favour, even when a loss against RJJ seemed more than likely IMO, before the fight date.
How would you rate Satoshi Shingaki and Samart Payakarun?? Know them names?

The IBO Cruiser Title has no less and no more meaning than any other Governing Bodies Belt. It's YOUR own opinion of who you think would beat Green that concerns you... Not the standing of the Belt itself.

Do you consider Chad Bennett a former world welterweight champion as he use to hold the WBF title ? Is Oliver McCall also a current heavyweight champion as he defeated the very dangerous John Hopoate for the IBA title ?

In this day and age of bull**** titles it is the fans you say who is the king of each division and the legitimate top guys in each division. I'm sorry but Danny Green is neither of those in the cruiserweight division at the moment. If you think he is then we shall agree to disagree then.
