Jackson Asiku's title is very much the same no doubt...beat a much smaller guy coming up in weight.
Both were not ranked high at Featherweight much the same as Green-Dominguez HOWEVER both were ranked inside either the IBO's top 25 at Super Bantam (in Ruiz's case) & IBO's top 35 at Featherweight (in Asiku's) case, so therefore could be sanctioned by the IBO's rules.
Dominguez SHOULD NOT have been sanctioned by the IBO as he broke their rules ranked well outside the top 50 (high 60's from memory).


Pacquiao's IBO Title win vs Hatton was also for the Ring Magazine title at 140 & The Ring Title meant alot more than the IBO's Title in my opinion.
Plus Hatton was the clear number 1 at Light Welter unlike Green who was no near the top of Cruiserweight having just came back from a pretend retirement.

The bouts sanctioned by the IBO are not any different to the greater majority that we've seen sanctioned by other Govering Bodies throughout the games inception of Queensbury Rules. ( I threw that in just to confuse Moron75).

Due to Green winning the vacant title from Dominquez, you seem inclined to follow Moron75's rustic opinion?? Well, unlike Pac, Green defended the belt against a LEGEND of the game- thus giving a reason for credit. Attempts to induce high quality defences of his IBO title is commendable and complimenting to both Green and the IBO. Suspicions of his next opponent will be cleared with an announcement soon...

Pac is Pac. Unique. Amazing. Etc. Careful though mate, something murky sitting in the system may ruin all credit for Pac.

I'll ask Phil about the reason for sanctioning the Dominquez bout and listen hard to the answer.. albeit old news.

I just didnt agree with the IBO sanctioning of the fight vs Dominguez. Neither boxer had many fights at that weight & Dominguez's ranking or lack there of he simply did not qualify.
Green for sure with the destruction of Roy Jones has to be given some credit.

Phil's answer will be something on the lines of "an exemption to our rules was given"....Perfect Jet & myself queried this earlier.

another thread goes off the original topic.Dannys title is a farce but to get RJJ over to Australia he needed the lure of money and of course a world title in the only division between MW and HW where he didnt have a world title.everyone knows this but it got a big name likke RJJ over here.so who cares it got the desired result.
