The term "dynasty" doesn't really belong in boxing. But the two of them seemed to rule and function as such.
I don't think so. I think casual fans will know Wlad because of how long he was champ and then think of his brother not being "as good" because he didn't fight that long.
Put it this way: Half the calendar years Wlad has been on his long streak of wins Vitali hasn't even been actively fighting. So it probably shouldn't be in any way. 2005, 2006, 2007, 2013, 2014, 2015-This is while Wlad was fighting Peter I, Byrd II, Brock, Brewster II, Povetkin, Pulev, Jennings and now Fury. Vitali is literally gone during this whole time. Are they working together when Vitali isn't even there?
The Klitchkos were the HW faces of the 2000's,only a casual fan wont know that! If anyone told you two giant twin like eastern European brothers were going to be the Hw boxing dominant champs they would have looked at you like you were crazy in other eras prior . they simply ran the Hwe division and steam rolled it,even with some losses.
Yeah, they'll be remember as the Michael Milken's of boxing but instead of bonds it's the junk era of the sport.
Wladimir Klitschko becomes the new pound-for-pound king, just read it on the Net......................
