Will the ref allow Dubois to get away with dirty tactics?

He always seems to. Low blow to Usyk (milked for the full 5 minutes but hey take every advantage you can get), butted the hell out of Hrgovic

 

If Usyk’s team is actually naive enough not to absolutely make sure the proper and PROVEN ref is hired for this fight… yes. What ever ref that sleaze bag Warren pays under the table will.

If the ref does his job and this POS dubois fights his usual fight… then Usyk wins by dumbo dubois getting disqualified before round 5. It’s really as simple as that.

 

I'm expecting him to get away with a lot and to try a lot. Of his last few fights the only one where he hasn't been consistently trying to foul was against cash cow Joshua, who he would never have gotten away with it against.

 

Dubois will do whatever he needs to in order to win. Since Usyk's thirty-eight and not the future anymore the ref will allow it.

Fouls, low blows and headbutts are Dubois only hope outside Usyk getting old overnight.

 

Depends on the referee massively but British promotions and soil will help Dubois hugely too.

Atmosphere will be interesting because its at Wembley stadium obviously but I can see a lot of fans supporting Usyk over Dubois.

 

When Dubois landed the major low blow, I think we saw Usyk become genuinely pissed and ramp up his offence - though I still think Usyk entered the fight pre med to be that much more offensively aggressive anyway.

Yeah, Dubois will do whatever he can get away with - he has a quite the dome on him for head butting too. I get a Jack Johnson vibe about that head of his.

Imo, Usyk has been unjustifiably labelled as vulnerable to body shots and somewhat of a complainer re same - so that may or may not influence and temper the ref’s due regulation of DDD.

Even after the obvious and major low blow in fight 1, Dubois kept throwing them and the ref almost acted as if Usyk was the boy who cried wolf when Olek duly complained of the subsequent low blows.

 

Usyk got something special for Dubois, just like he did Huck and Bellew.

 

Dubois will definitely try to rough him up.

Interesting to see how he approaches the fight. He definitely could've gotten up from that JAB...may be some lingering mental effects.

 

The dynamics are different and I would say absolutely.
The first fight was in a place friendly to Usyk and Dubious was a lesser 'brand' at that point. Usyk was not undermined.
Now Dubious is more seriously being positioned as the next AJ and will be protected much more, and if it's in the UK, the favouritism will be big.
Usyk and team are actually stupid to take that fight in the UK, they should remember why they had it in Poland. It's actually MORE likely they get sabotaged this time.
Not only could Dubious be allowed dirty tactics, a special British stoppage could come his way too.
If this happens it is because of the overconfidence and greed of Team Usyk.

 

Howard Foster will stop the fight as soon as Dubois lands a nasty stare on Usyk.

 

Dubois will be aiming right for that belt line again. Count on it.

 

Let's be realistic here...

Most referees are crap - almost all of them let a lot of illegal stuff fly without batting an eyelid.

Dubois doesn't need a corrupt referee to get away with deliberate lowblows, or to get away with headbutts... He just needs the normal crap refereeing that most fights get - and he probably will.

 

It would be good if Usyk just wiped the floor with him and won every second of the fight, Dubois camp have been delusional in regards to the first one, Dubois keeps saying it was a close fight
