Will the ref and judges in Las Vegas be fair to Calzaghe?

The question should be what will the ref do when HOpkins starts losing and resorts to dirty fighting, Headbutting, elbows, rabbit, kidney shots, if Hops start out losing which will happen he will start fighting dirty:yep will the ref take points or DQ?? it will be interesting:-| I hope Kenny Bayless gets the job, he's a neutral ref, that won't take ****..

 

Actually, I made a mistake, Adelaide Byrd scored it 119-107 for Calzaghe against Lacy, not Dave Moretti, but Chuck Giampa gave 119-109 for Joe against Charles Brewer... Paul Thomas, Raul Caiz, Larry Hazzard and John Steward all have experience in judging Calzaghe fights... Not Dave Moretti, not Patricia Morse Jarman, not Steve Weisfeld, not Glenn Trowbridge, not Duane Ford, not Tommy Kaczmarek, not Jerry Roth and it goes on and on... This is one of the reasons that is Warren's fault - if Valzaghe had already fought there, he would be better known and would be better appreciated by the Las Vegas judges.

 

Joe Cortez thinks hes gods gift to boxing. I miss Mills Lane.

 

Hopkins has the better name in the U.S. and a lot of the judges in Vegas have rendered some bad ones but I dont expect this fight to be so close...If Calzage uses his speed and movement, he should take it clean but the judges can be a problem, depending on the promoter

 

lets hope smoger or tony weeks gets the job.

 

Calzaghe may wish to see '' Cortez '' in there so that Hopkins can't play his inside game !

I honestly think so too. This is a world wide event that will be watched world wide, and I believe that in this day and time they will be sure to not and give themselves a black eye with the world watching. Especially considering it's becoming apparent that the UK is showing to have the most active supporters in boxing right now. We will want them to know they're welcome to come here and get treated fairly.

I would like to see as ref either of: Weeks, Smoger, Bayless (first choice for me).

Cotton has been good at times, but sucked the big one in Malignaggi/Cherry or was it Ngoujo?
