Will the ref protect ward from Kovalev?

A Ward victory is a big ask Saturday imo.

 

It never fails talk **** about one fighter being afraid of the other fighter and he will get knocked out fight is signed then move on to excuse mode, paid off judges guys is on roids biased ref guy was never that good to begin with you name it. I've seen these trolls do this countless times. It's embarrassing really.

seen that byrd is the ref.
not a fan if the fight is to be a spectacle

IMO ward will potshot from the outside catch kovalev and then fall in to the inside and maul and slow down kovalev workrate and negate his power.

this is fine as tactic as long as its not to the extreme and the fight becomes a clinch fest

i have seen byrd allow fighters to do this over and over without ever taking a point and makes me think that makes ward favourite.

refs in this type of fight make a difference.

maybe byrd will keep it as clean as he can / ward is not an easy fighter to ref as he gives the ref [plenty of work to do.

 

So where do you want the fight to be held? from memory i cant recall kov getting a bad decision in america?

 

It could be in Kovalev's back yard it doesn't matter, if Ward wins he will have an excuse as will all the haters.

 

None of Kov's fights really needed judges did they But Has he ever fought in Vegas before ??

2.Ward had the commission in his back pocket
3.Ward Ran
4.Ward fought Dirty
5.Ward works for HBO
6.Ward had his own personal ref to help him win.
7.Ward is on PEDS
8.Kovalev is shot.
9.Kovalev was never that good to begin with Ward must beat this guy in order to prove himself
10.Ward is boring
11.Ward can't draw flies
12.Ward was the favorite in the fight.
