The rematch will probably happen in the UK and if so will it fill Wembleh out?

    no question.
the fans will still want to see joshua do well and be champ again.

he puts on great nights out for the UK fan base (not just the fight).

Brits are pretty loyal and not fickle like you yanks. We actually like to support our fighters.

Gate revenue is a drop in the bucket for overall sales. Now there's huge PPV potential from the Mexican fanbase, which means the fight could (and should) land in Vegas or even Texas.

Also Joshua/Hearn wants the fight in the UK just so he can stack all the cards against him. Joshua got pampered far too long. He is the only champion that forced all 4 title belt holders to come to the UK to fight. Now he wants his belts back, go to the champ's turf and get it.

Of course now we know why he wanted to stay stafe in the UK. First sign of adversary and he folds.

Al Haymon sees this tactic by Hearn. That's why, unless the rematch was specifically contracted in the UK (and it looks like it isn't), Haymon will push this fight in the US. Ruiz is the champ, not Joshua.

And you don't think Haymon would do the same if he was in Hearn's position?

I don't see Wilder rematching Fury in the UK do you?

It will sell because it's a multiple world title fight. It will sell because it's make or break. Can Ruiz replicate it ? Or was Joshua having an off night.

I think its more a case of brits stick behind their fighters win or lose. Not all brits are AJ fan's either.
