Will the Sky F1 channel impact on the boxing budget?

I guess that F1 would attract a decent amount of new subscribers. A lot of people who don't like real sports seem to like F1 for some reason.

 

Didn't you bring this up a few months back? And wasn't the answer pretty much a resounding no?

 

very happy about sky getting F1. I don't think it will effect skys budget for boxing. Sky will deliver 1 fight card each week from January onwards, its not there fault Fwank ****ed them over and a couple of international fights.

 

allot of people that don't play sports are into cars.

I would imagine most of us boxing fans have taken part in some sort of sport whether its actual boxing or football, rugby. Guys who love cars just love cars.

 

yeah my Gran is subscribing to skysports just for the F1 (although they also show tennis and golf which i think she likes), and i imagine that there will be more people like her. Shouldn't have a negative impact on boxing really.

 

But they don't even like any other motor racing. Not touring cars, rallying, motorcycles, just F1. Bizarre.

I doubt it. They got F1 to drive new Subs.

I hate the damn sport but can see why Sky got it. Its very popular.

 

I appreciate and respect F1 but can't understand why someone would be an avid fan. Sport should entertain, F1 doesn't really do that.
