It's just that you read some of the comments, especially the ones about froch getting a hometown decision, and all that ****. Just pisses me off. Thought i would have a little gander on the general forum, but doubt i will be dipping my toes again, unless further comments appear on this particualr thread as a continuation of what i said, as i am in the mood for a row!

You're right, I know nothing about boxing: I don't think Froch is the best SMW of the history of boxing.

who said he was? He is underrated in this tourno by everyone, except the fighters. Do you seriously think AA or Kessler are taking him lightly?
Kessler will give him his toughest fight to date, but stylistically, the two will get nicely, and it will be all about who dishes it out and takes it best, nothing technical about it at all

Allen Green is going to get his ass beat by every fighter in the tournament outside of Dirrell

I would go on to say Kessler, Dirrell, Froch, and Green. Froch just has a lack of defense that will expose him to accurate, strong shots by Abraham and hey even Ward. Green is well...not really has a chance of beating anyone except for maybe Dirrell and I would much rather have Pavlik in this tournament though it's best he isn't in because his name would be on this list too. Taylor was in a downward spiral since losing to Pavlik so the SS tournament is not to blame for ruining him. Kessler is an obvious answer and Dirrell is just too green and could easily be ruined by the likes of Abraham and possibly Green.

Yes it will ruin Bute 'cause he will be forced to stay active against the leftovers of the supermiddle unless he goes up or goes down:D

So the translation would be...... I don't like what you guys from all over are saying, so I will go back to where guys from the same place as me say things that I like.

If you don't think Froch got a hometown decision then you're living in cloud cuckoo land.

I actually dont think so..... i dont think most of them get hit enough to really become ruined (besides taylor) except for Froch, and i guess we will have to see how his fights with Abraham and Kessler go, but hes the only one that i could see it happening too.

Oh.... and green perhaps, hes simply not good enough NOT to catch a beating throughout this tourny.

If he loses, Kessler could be next in line.

But...................................if we the boxing fans wants to see the best vs. the best, we should support there efforts and back them up all the way, otherwise there will never be and other Super SiX :blood

Hell for years we have cried out to see fighters like Hopkins, Jones, Taylor, Calzaghe, Kessler, Bute, Froch, Abraham, Pavlik, Miranda, Sturm, Wright and ........................to fight each other ..

If boxingfans don't give credits to Taylor, who was inside 12 and 10 seconds to victory, for his effort to fight the best................ hell the money men and the promoters were all right then..................:huh

Agreed. Kessler is on the other side of the hill. one or two tough fights form him will create a push to the step down slope.

Kessler will be affected the most. He has the most wear and tear. That doesn't mean he won't win another fight, or several, but Kessler is older at 30 than Froch is at 32, easily.
