This is why, these type of tournaments do not work in the professional ranks these days.... > I Understand the format, i just think it is ****...for more than one reason. > The general public, and lets not lie mate...do not understand the format...? Most don't even know about this tournament.... > The Time between fights is why, this type of boxing event..does not work in the proffessional ranks. The SuperSix was meant to be one of the major things, to save boxing. Its started, and its doing **** all. David Haye vs "The Beast" did more for boxing...
Bolding a sentence doesn't mean that you get to ignore the context supplied by the other sentences around it, you spastic. Bring some evidence for your contention that Taylor was 'forced out' of the S6 or **** off. And die, preferably.
BJ Flores stated on ESPN that Taylor was paid to leave. It was probably a termination clause, but still... He still went willingly.
anyone know when Episode 3 will be shown on Showtime? Was looking at the website last night but couldn't find anything.
The Super Six is brilliant for boxing. We have the best fighting the best which is shirley what we all want?? Taylor is not able at the moment to compete at this level and risked permanent long term damage by staying in this tournment. He would just be a punchbag for the rest. The tournament is going to get stronger too. As someone said earlier about Froch fighting Kessler and defending his title 3 times in such short space of time and against decent opposition. Credit to all the boxers and promoters for getting this on and putting egos etc aside to give the fans this tournament. Kessler Froch next ,what is there not to like about the super six? As someone said earlier when we had the opening double bill of fights was a great night of TV.
More like a lack of mainstream TV stations picking it up. If this tourney had been arranged in the early 90's it would have been on ITV or BBC and more people would be tuning in. Now in order to make sure it was on TV they put it on Primetime (PPV channel on Sky) for £6 per fight  **** that. I was able to get a top quality, fully reliable website, and able to watch ANY boxing fights from Spain, Mexico, America, Australia, Russia, Europe and the UK for the mere sum of £19.99 for 6 months subscription. That also includes watching any other type of sporting event i.e football, rugby, MMA etc. That's the problem. Boxing is forcing us to go to other extents to watch the fights by other means.
