Canelo wont fight GGG right after, do you think it's wise for him to jump up from cws of 155 at the age of 25 straight to 160 against the king of 160. He should test the waters against some other MW, Cotto is not a real MW.

I think Canelo is gutsy enough.

Cotto is smart enough not to get in there with Golo.

Yes. But only if one of the 2 dominates. If they win big, they will be confident enough to face him

    Of course not.

    There's better options money wise.

Like? GGG just had his first PPV and there are no other MW's who have had that.

I think if Canelo wins he will fight Golovkin sometime next year, just not right after Cotto. ODLH might be advising him not to but Canelo makes his own decisions.

Cotto simply will not fight him if he beats Canelo. Will probably fight Lee instead.

Cotto NEEDS to man-up and face GGG if he gets past Canelo.

He's been holding that title hostage for too long now.

A trilogy or Mayweather fight obviously.

If GGG goes down to 154 I think they'll fight. Outside of that I don't see why Cotto or Canelo would bother going up to 160. Cotto is too small, and Canelo hasn't even fought at 160 yet.

Some time ago i tought Canelo would have fought Golovkin.

Now i don't think so anymore. He's a warrior, but his team i don't think will sacrifice him again.

Oh and forget about The *****, he will go to even more ridicolous ends to avoid him.

I think after last nights fight, Cotto will finally realize that GGG isn't so tough. I would put my money on Cotto.

Highly unlikely. Cotto simply knows he can't win. Canelo is still very young and this won't be like losing to Mayweather on points, GGG can completely ruin his career.

As of now the most likely opponent is Andy Lee if he gets past Billy Joe Saunders.
