According to Hearn they may have a rematch which means either the winner is stripped of the WBA or unless they vacate ..Will either man step up and face the most dangerous boxer in the divison ?

    Why would they?

They also have a mandatory with Wake which they would get 75/25 (and would make more money due to Japanese TV). They only get 45% v Rigo

The only way to keep both titles would be by fighting Nonito Donaire or Julio Ceja in a unification.

And of course if a rematch is warranted that's the biggest money fight of them all.

Dangerous? I think you mean hard to catch.

Its highly unlikely I don't see rigo getting another big fight at 122 ever again.

They'll duck Rungundeaux who wants to fight a runner anyway he runs.

They have to face him within 90 days if they want to keep the WBA title with a 55/45 split in Rigo's favour.

They also have to fight Shingo Wake within 90 days as demanded by the IBF

Quigg is the current regular champion.

You become Super Champion if you unify two titles

Rigo is champ in recess. The winner must face Rigondeaux before or on July 27th or be stripped of the WBA title. That's what the WBA have ordered (whether they stick to it or not who knows because they are the greediest of all the sanctioning bodies and probably won't want to miss out on the dough from a Frampton-Quigg rematch, or have them take their business to the IBF while they are left with Rigo who can't draw flies to excrement)

With Roc Nation´s backing, Rigo could get that fight, eventually.
Fact is that Rigo is a known commodity in the UK and a fight vs him would be a big one. Hes a real threat and they love it over there.
Why was Groves-Froch II so big? Because Froch was quite possibly going to loose it.

Rigo is not a known commodity in the UK.

Froch-Groves II was so big because Froch-Groves 1 featured more action in round 1 than Rigo has in his whole career 7,000 times over and had a big build up around two guys with personality. Something Rigo has none of and can't even speak English.

Well the rule used to be that if you make 5 successful defences you get upgraded to Super Champion (provided there isn't one already). It seems like that has now gone out of the window because they just awarded Broner a Super title for beating a guy coming off a loss (ignoring interim champ Benadivez) and they ignored regular champion Cuellar to make Santa Cruz v Mares for the belt.

So if I was Rigo I wouldn't hold by breath about them following through with making the winner fight him. I believe they also stripped him to allow the Quigg V Frampton fight to happen, without Frampton having to vacate, as the IBF don't recognise secondary champions as unifications and Frampton had his mandatory due. (E. G. They wouldn't let Golovkin fight Jacobs instead of Wade without giving up the IBF)

If either of them were going to fight Rigo, they would have done it by now.

My guess is Frampton moves up to 126 pretty soon
