Will the interim champs be upgraded?

  1. Yes. Both the winners of Usyk-Joyce and Povetkin-Whyte II will be made full titlists.

  2. Only the winner of Usyk-Joyce, as the WBC will be cool about it.

  3. Only the winner of Povetkin-Whyte II, as the WBO will come around, but the WBC will not

  4. Neither will be upgraded as they will allow a unified champ a rematch

  5. Neither will be upgraded because Joshua-Fury will be so dominant that there will be no second fight

...fury and Joshua have their rematch. These two, who I think will probably be Usyk and Povetkin, will be interim champs. The WBO has said that it will allow Fury-Joshua I, but not 2. Will the WBC follow suit?

Going to put up a poll.

For the WBC it depends who's out there. If someone they like (Wilder, for instance) is in the market for a belt it will move fast.

If it's just to start the reign of Joe Joyce and the AJ-Fury fight is a big seller then they may find it in their heart to stick around for the rematch.
