I would be shocked if they did a 24/7 for THAT!

Maybe if Canelo fights someone like Cotto down the line. But I'm not seeing them making the investment for this.

I mentioned this the other day on OTR. 24/7 has essentially become something that happens whenever Floyd or Pac fight. Not only have we seen them numerous times to the point where they're reaching for new material, they have 4 common opponents in DLH, Cotto, Mosley (if you include the Showtime equivalent), and Hatton!

That's why I liked the first episode of this one, if for no other reason Bradley is a fresh face added into the mix.

At the same time, I doubt HBO puts that type of investment into a fight with Canelo and Williams. Then again, maybe this are the type of fight they SHOULD be investing in.

All the same I'd be shocked if they did.

Maybe a 2-part one? BUt I doubt it. . . Im sure they will have SOMETHING, though. .

Probably just a face/off, and then maybe one 30 minute promo segment.

Doubt it. I'd be shocked if they did but it seems unlikely. Too bad HBO doesn't do those "Countdown To..." specials for certain fights anymore because this would be a good fight for this type of special

24/7 has become repetitive and stale.

They should try to be more like Fight Camp 360

This bout transcends the 24/7 concept.

Look for a major motion picture at a theatre near you this summer.

And possibly a sequel, to be released a week before the fight.

    Yes.

It makes perfect sense to do it.

Canelo is about to start going into a superstar status and this would be the perfect fight to promote heavily for him. We all know this is going to be a high action fight. More than likely will end in a brutal KO and plenty of action in between. Imagine the public being introduced to him this way. It would raise his stock. I dont think any fight that has been on 24/7 has lived to the hype other than JMM-PAC III.

Do a 24/7 on something that will be worth it like this. Besides I would like to learn more about Canelo as he seems to be a pretty quiet dude and not much comes out of him.

We will have to limit PWs with the Nahmsayings though.

this fight warrants a 24/7 becuase the public knows little about both these fighters. the last thing we need is another pbf/pac 24/7.

i disagree on the KO. even though both these fighters are offensive, dlh is smart enough to not go for broke against pw who is still a dangerous fighter.

gbp simply wants a win and is not delusional into thinking that canelo will dominate and ko pw. when you go for the ko is generally when you get kod. the lara and first martinez fight physically took more out of pw than the falsh ko by sergio.

mentally, pw has already overcome that ko.
