I hope so. I don't see why they wouldn't want to do it with all the drama going on between the trainers and fighters making predictions and Pac's first day in sparring. HBO would really be dropping the ball if they didn't do a 4 week series. It might even cost them some sales.

Any 24 that involves HAtton and especially pacman are boring.... There's no drama with these guys.. Hatton is too busy playing his " nice bloke " card and PAcman is pretty much the same.. He doesn't speak enough english nor does he stir up any **** to make the show interesting... I mean talk some **** to each other.. talk about each other's moms or something... They do nothing...

At least Floyd's 24 were really interesting... People hate him for being a big talker but they all tuned in to watch his show... How funny..

I bet everyone who says its boring will still watch it.

If you like trash talking go watch WWE. There they talk craps and fight like craps.

Mayweather Sr and Roach would be the ones doing the talking.

Umm no.. You're missing the point here.. They made the 24 show to hype/promote the fight and sell more but the show rating have gone down lately.. Why do u think? Boxing is about drama and those two bring none of it..

People have been complaining about the new 24 shows for a reason..

It's a such a big fight though so it's going to sell regardless but im just saying... 24 shows have been dull lately and alot of fans have been saying the same.

Actually it wont be boring cuz i know there are a lot of fans who wants to see this fight. The show doesn't have to involved trash talking to be interesting. I for one is interested cuz i want to see how both fighters are preparing for the fight. I want to see how hard they are training for each other.

Last time i check pacman-delahoya had a 24/7 show and it turn out alright. Both are also not known for trash talking as we all know oscar and pacman are very professional :good

24/7 is aimed at the casual fan, boxing fans dont need to be sold this fight.this is one fight that wont suffer from lack of crossover appeal due to both fighters fan bases,so this 24/7 isnt as crucial to this fight's success as it was to say calzaghe/jones.and like some else said, everyone knocking it will still watch it.

It's true, you have a strong point. The drama sells. Selling the being poor or a good example was Margarito's brother death. You feel for them. Nothing wrong with trash talking. It also sells. If it works for the WWE, so throw it in boxing too. Boxing has no WWE selling points? Camacho, RJJ, Naz had there entrances and music. It all sells and makes you want to watch more.

Jan, hit the nail on the head with all the drama we will get wtih Roach and Mayweather, Sr.

Is it really aimed at the casual fan? Your right, the fight sells itself, but what is wrong with a little boost to make the fight more exciting. Yes, the training and the hardships, but there is always something different that fans like about the 24/7 whether it be the music, training, hardships, the joking, the trash talking, and the always connections that 24/7 brings to new boxing fans. A non-boxing fan could tune in by accident and all of a sudden he/she wantst to watch the actual fight. This is a different type of networking that helps boxing.

Looking forward to it, but neither guy is especially riveting, particularly Pacquiao, as a reality TV subject.
