When you say there never was you couldn't be more wrong. Floyd started in an era that had Trinidad, Hopkins, Jones, Mosley, Barrera, Lewis, Toney and the list goes on All those guys are well known and Atg fighters.

Now will there any more stars like we had in the 80s and 90s? Doesn't look like it. These young guys aren't busy enough and big fights aren't happening like they did ib the past to launch guys into that next level. Hell the so called stars today can barely beat the old men in Hopkins and Marquez.

If you are basing it off income then no but there could be someone who comes along that will be extremely popular.

I think Canelo can and might become bigger! lations are the biggest fan base in boxing. dude did 2 mil on regular HBO at 24 yrs old!! Mayweather was never close to that and didnt really become a star till the DLH fight. Canelo already is a star and alot of casuals already know him.

I think Canelo is the one, plus hes an exciting fighter, thats why he could pass him

24 and he needs catchweights to stay relevant. That's sad. Imagine once he's in his late 20s. He will look like Andy Ruiz.

Canelo better cash out now You'll see CANelo is ordinay once he doesn't have a huge size advantage fight night.

bro stop hating. You can that Canelo had fought the hardest comp in the last 2 years over EVERYONE!! The catch weights were not for an advantge for him. he fought all 154 fighters and fought them at 155, all good.

it doesnt matter how good u think he can be. the man just did 2 mil on HBO at 24. hes looking to big bigger then Mayweather

I remember he did worse than 300K PPV on his own against Angulo. 2M is regular viewers.

I have no idea and don't care. When you're talking superstar like Floyd, it's about PPV, getting people to pay for the match.

If you mean popularity, then Canelo, GGG, Loma, they have the potential. Walters looks great, Crawford, Joshua could be huge in england, etc.

It all depends on careful marketing. So far, the first 3 I mentioned are being marketed very well.
