if the fight is close, will they give the decision to a particular fighter? Will the judges protect their own interest? will they make it a draw so they can cash out again? we have seen this shi- before so many times. i wouldnt be surprised to see some bs happen. hopkins and holyfield already expect controversy to happen with a fight of this magnitude and they arent the only ones
I really hope there's no controversy. The only kind I would like is a very close fight that could go either way - like a split decision. Would definitely set up a rematch. But anything like CJ Ross-esque scorecards or a referee ruining the fight somehow would be a catastrophe. All the BS from camps, fans and forums is going to melt away once that first bell goes on May 2. The best man will come out on top. Who that is, I do not know. No excuses. Fight of the century. Fight of your life. Just do it.
Deserved or undeserved controversy, there will be controversy. There will be because the fan bases are too extreme. If Pac wins 115-113, Pac fans will cheer, Floyd fans will cry robbery. If Floyd wins 115-113, Floyd fans will cheer, Pac fans will cry robbery. There's always going to be someone upset.
It's hard for this fight to be controversial when Pacquiao can't walk, can't sleep, leg cramps, can't run hills, can't see, can't move, can't jab, is 89 years old in fighting years, can't wake up, can't read, can't eat, can't fly and above all can't maintain an erection anymore. It's no surprise that you pathetic ret@rds unleashed endless imaginary excuses as soon as this one was signed. Only a month ago "Mayweather was scared".
Thank you, Lady Girl. You've probably noticed this forum is littered with people who don't think rationally.
This exactly. And there will be enormous pressure on the referee and judges. So mistakes are bound to happen... let's hope there won't be a guy with a black hat present :err
Legit controversey? I doubt it. People are going to complain no matter what happens. I would assume though that there won't be anything legitimately controversial in this fight. Obviously, no one really knows either way. However, I doubt anyone is going into this fight with nefarious intentions.
