Will there ever be a non American ppv star like Pacquiao?

This is what I find even more impressive he is not even American and couldn't even speak proper English at the time he began his assent to supers****om this shows that his impressiveness in the ring made up for it

He has generated over $700 million in pay-per-view revenue.

"Manny Pacquiao broke the mold and blazed a very unique trail for the following reasons," said Mark Taffet, the senior vice president of PPV at HBO Sports. "He's not a heavyweight. He wasn't an Olympian. He's not from the very vibrant Latino or African-American demographic segments. He's not American. He's the only top non-American in that top five.

its amazing a Asian kid who could not speak a word of English could generate this much money in ppv

Not sure Golovkin is a million miles away, it took Pacquiao 8 years to get on PPV, 9 years to be the A side.

If he beats an established American star in exciting fashion, of course.

Pacquiao won't be the only one. There will be a big star, always will.

I think not being american helps a lot more. Hate to say it but americans dont support their fighters as other countries. Every generation a fighter comes that gets the support of its people and thats what keeps boxing alive.

He will if he dominates and then an opponent comes along and they build it for a year or two selling is as 'this is the guy who can beat him'

Mayweather and pacquaio have built each other, theres a reason there numbers have declined since there fight was thought to be over after manny got ko'd.

American's won't polish the knobs of American fighters just because they're American.
