Corrales (R.I.P.) has the surest shot of induction of those you mentioned-I'd bet the house on him being inducted eventually. I give the others a 40% chance at best, although Bowe might slip in one day, on the strength of the Holyfield trilogy and the heart shown in the Golota bouts.

I could see where the arguement for all of them could be made for either side.

I can see Corrales, Castillo and Bowe being inducted and i'd be cool with those choices.

Castillo should imo. Best resume goes to Vargas but most achieved is Castillo for sure.

Diego,Castillo,Austin have a good chance of making it. Vargas and Bowe I would have to say no because though they were both excellent fighters, both their primes were too short to make it in the IBHOF. But I would'nt be mad if they did make it.

That's true but if my criteria was who prime was longer than you would have to go with Austin who's prime was from 97 to 2003 in where he lost to R.Marquez.

    Strong case
Diego Corrales- combination of his tragic death,Exciting fights and deafeating great fighters while being 2 weight champ gives him the strongest case

    Maybe
Fernando Vargas- youngest 154 champion in hitory
Jose Luis Castillo- Historic fight with Corrales and defeated some great fighters.

    Definitely NO
Riddick Bowe - one of the post above answers this
Tim Austin - defeated solid comp but not anywhere good enough to warrant HOF level, Exiting with alot of heart but he lost to the one elite fighter he faced.

I'll admit I'm not all that familiar with the selection process, but I wouldn't be inclined to vote for any of them were I in the position to do so.

They're memorable fighters for sure, but in my opinion, most are not great fighters and those who are did not have the level of dominance that I would like to see in a hall of famer.
