Vasily "Hi-Tech" "The Matrix" Lomachenko had four consecutive opponents in 13 months:

    Guillermo Rigondeaux--6th rd
    Miguel Marriaga--7th rd
    Jason Sosa--9th rd
    Nicholas Walters--7th rd

All retire on their stool based on pure frustration. To me this was one of the most amazing runs in boxing history.

His run at SFW was ATG level imo. Shame he didn't solidify it up at LW.

What? I don’t get what your trying to say. Fighting four times in one year is not uncommon loads of people have done it so I don’t know what your getting at.

You’ve obviously not seen the runs of Harry Greb, Sugar Ray Robinson, or JUlio Cesar Chavez. That’s only 3 names, there are others with similarly amazing accomplishments.

    Greb- 45-0 in one year

Robinson - 91 fight win streak

Chavez - 80 fight win streak

And I understand your point about making four fighters quit in a row.

In the modern boxing game at the highest level it is very rare to fight 4 times in around a year.

Most fighters at the highest level now fight 2 times a year at most. There are some that only fight once per year once they are belt holders and defending titles.

Ok but it’s not a record. Loads of people have done it in the past it’s really not that impressive.

Four back-to-back no mas wins against world class opponents, two of whom undefeated, three of whom former or current world champions, one of whom ranked P4P #4 and a fellow two-time Olympic gold medalist & two-time World Amateur gold medalist, and all punchers, all via the application of technical wizardry and the sweet science? Never

To this day Loma is the only fighter to have stopped three of them and none of them had or have subsequently (albeit Walters retired) quit or displayed an ounce of quit in any of their fights. Quite the opposite in fact with some of them

Don't forget Rigo came up through the very tough Cuban amateur system, had over 400 amateur fights, and has seen every style imaginable. But he'd never seen anything like Loma before and the fact a fighter as supernaturally talented and experienced as him had no answer for the riddle that is Loma speaks volumes.

He made 4 fighters in a row QUIT. How was that difficult to get? It's simple what he was saying it's unprecedented and probably will never be equalled again. In fact it was almost 5, Linares was clearly mentally broken too and didn't look like he wanted to continue either but the ref made the decision for him.. but he definitely looked like he was on the verge of quitting & saying enough as well.

I know you are not capable to comprehend it , but it’s actually more impressive than anything your hero Fury has done .

This isn't really a "record". It's just a pretty good modern day run.

    Impressive, for sure.

But Naoya "Monster" Inoue handing out first time KO losses like candy laced with poison on Halloween to 3 world class opponents in a row in 4 total rounds is the greater feat. Not to mention one of them took 2 punches the entire fight.

    McDonnell (KO1)
    Payano (KO1)
    Rodriguez (KO2)

    :deal:

    That's not as uncommon

Can you think of one other instance of a fighter scoring four back-to-back no mas wins?

Let alone against world class fighters, three of them former or current world champions, two undefeated and one the P4P#4
