No, not interested in Cotto-Floyd. Not really a big enough modern boxing fan to even justify a tenner a month, especially when I know who's pocket it's going in.
^ That's something that I've tried to put to one side, but can't help but use it as part of my reason not to get it. It's not actually benefitting the fighters, it's the usual short term gain thing, in this instance by a man desperate to pay his debts and survive. Plus, the idea that just because someone had a good amateur career should automatically get European title kinda money for 4x3's doesn't sit well with me at all.
Bloody hell I would have watched them if I knew, I have to admit it has got better, I think it was the night before they was showing a heavy hitters program, Id seen most of the knockouts before but I still enjoyed it, made a nice change from Cotto-Margarito 2.
Flea i think with the inclusion of docs like the ones on Walker and Bugner i saw last night boxnation will eventually appeal to fans like yourself eventually ,for me being a fan of the sport from the historic to present day its a win win situation for me , i ain't telling anyone how to spend their money but for me the entertainment i get out of boxnation justifies me spending two and a half nicker a week i spend on it .
I was simply giving you some reasons for me/people not joining. What I meant by hardcore was someone who watches every fight that come's up, International, US , Domestic and a dedicated channel for boxing is pretty hardcore, no other sport has a channel dedicated to it. (Probably a reason for that) Boxnation were to guarantee 2 live fights a week or something like that. Wallet will correct me or provide you more accurate info, he works for them. I'd much rather pay 20 odd quid for 4 sports channels in HD, than 10 quid for one that doesnt provide what it promised and not HD.
Exactly. If you're with Virgin there's really no excuse not to fork out a 10er, then if you don't like the look of the next month's schedule you can cancel, then presumably pick it up again on a following month. I'm not exactly flush, but I'm happy to pay my bit for a tenner a month, even on quiet ones. You get more than compensated on the busy months.
