Who would be the man to stop him, if there is one? I don't see him being beaten in his division. Charlo? He doesn't even believe he can. What does it say about a world champion who vacated his division because he shat himself on the thought of facing this up and coming Lion. The New King of the Jungle. Fact. Lubin would get mauled he's nowhere near that level. Destroyed. K.O'D. Terence Crawford? Yes he can beat him. No question. To think otherwise is plain foolishness. I'm one of Tszyu's biggest fans but I'm not biased. The thing is, Tim can beat him. They're capable of beating each other. I think Tszyu needs one more fight at least in his own division before he steps up to that plate though. But he can get Crawford. But the time has to be right. Canelo? I don't know what to make of him. TBH he fought a guy that didn't want to be in there and didn't try to win. That was one of the most gutless efforts I've ever seen. To me it's like Liverpool taking on Manchester City on the weekend and not trying. Only the did and they got a draw. Or like Phili in last seasons Super Bowl not trying against the Chiefs. I thought Charlo was that type of calibre. But I was wrong. The point I'm making is Canelo beat a guy that fought without a soul. So waht does Canelo's win really mean? Jack ****. Benavidez? Forget about it. Benavidez would kill Tszyu. Way too much power, weight advantage and ring i.q. These are guys with weight advantage so what do you expect. To to the point, that's the type of calibre it takes to stop this great fighter. Guys who are champs and are divisions above. There is no one in Tim's division that comes close. He can rule this for god knows how long. He'd could go undefeated in this division. But he'll get bored. And as he himself mentioned, he will be moving up in weight.
Spence Jr could pose a problem. As the OP said, Crawford and Canelo would also be major hurdles. I personally want to see Tszyu vs GGG at 160.
Currently in his division no...... But if fighters like Ennis, Crawford, move up they will be a serious problem for Tszyu. And of course if Tszyu moves up he'll be fighting bigger guys.....but saying that the Middleweight division is a bit of a wasteland atm.
Tim's beatable, including by fighters in his own division if he doesn't perform near his best. Also, all of his fights bar a couple have been in Australia. It's a completely different caper fighting in the US. I like how he's going particularly b/c I think he's capable of becoming much better. In order to do that, he needs to face higher quality opposition. I don't see him staying at 154 beyond next year so let's see who he gets between now & then. Erickson Lubin has good skills & hand speed. I like him as an opponent. There are plenty of other decent fighters at 154, although a few are in hibernation. The Russian kid who is fighting for the vacant IBF title is good. Big, strong, hard puncher. Charles Conwell sits at #1 in the WBC rankings. He's been inactive but is a quality fighter. He gets past Brian Mendoza for the strap & he's the best opponent out there. In WBA-land, Matrimov has already been mentioned. He's very unorthodox & is a puzzle for someone to solve. Both he & Conwell need to get active but I'm sure they will when there's a world championship on the line & their promoters are able to make some money off them. And let's not forget Jesus Ramos & Sebastian Fundora. I wouldn't write off either against any of the names mentioned. Also, there's that bloke who's gone into hiding.
