Will to win - which of the top fighters has most of it?

I'd have to say Calzaghe. Maybe he hasn't faced that much adversity during fights, but it's just the fact that when he needs to step on the gas he does so. The fight with Kessler proved this to me. It was close halfway through and then he just stepped on the gas and pulled out a decisive win. As he has said before, he has an extrme fear of losing, dating back to the few times he lost in the amateurs. Katsidis seems to be taking the Gatti route and be willing to have war after war.

 

That one mormeck fight does not justifty David Haye being considered to have one of the greatest wills in the history of Boxing.

Miranda, you say that because Pavlik is one of your favourite fighters evidenced by your avatar. He lost that Pavlik fight by the way so how is his will to win great because of it?

Muhammad Ali had a great will to win because he got in the ring with both Liston and Foreman, when everyone else thought he would take a pasting. He took monsterous body shots against Foreman but still came out on top. He was the one left standing in the third Frazier fight, not Frazier. He never gave up against Holmes. That's what will is.

 

All of them. They won't even bother to step inside the ring if they doesn't have the will for it.
