I agree with you both. To hardcore Boxing fans, these wins DO mean something.

And as you said Power, it'll only be haters who will say they are nothing, but I think Jack was referring to the Casual Boxing fans more than anything.

No, I'm saying if he's worth the hype. That's the thing, because we really don't know how good Matthysse is yet, so it's a lose/lose situation for Judah. If he wins, he beat a guy whose best win is over a shot Harris. If he loses, that should be the end of his career.

What in this thread is even remotely 'stupid ass'?

We're having a good debate, and I just feel Matt will win.

What the **** is wrong with that?

Really, if you don't like peoples opinion's, ESB is NOT the place for you.

    P.S - I want Zab to win.

I'm pulling for Lucas to be honest. Getting pretty tired of seeing Zab blow all these opportunities

every time after a loss (PBF, Cotto) he always tricks his fans into thinking he can do something great but notice how it never happens?

 WHAT? You're the guy who went around bumping threads where people had said something negative about Khan just so you could stick it to them, even though sometimes they said those things before you even joined ESB!!

Maybe you should take some of your own advice buddy.

When was the last time Judah was completely sparked, or ko'd cold? When was the last time that Judah was KO'd early? Seriously?

I really dont have time to go trawling through to find them, but they were usually people saying Khan was **** and wouldn't be a world champion, or people saying he wouldn't come back from his KO, and you bumped them like a sad child when Khan proved them wrong just because anybody having a negative opinion of Khan gets you all in a tissy.

That's the totality of Lucas, a great looking record and a big punch, i suspect he will show some heart but what i saw from him in the Harris fight is a fighter with average handspeed and someone who's very hittable, Zab will outspeed him and outbox him and Should TKO him in about 8 or 9 rounds, i just don't see this dude having the strength and chin to walk Judah down like Cotto, Baldomir and Clottey were able to who were all welterweights, and he's definitely not Mayweather and Spinks slick so that leaves his only hope of sparking Zab out early Kosta Tzyu style and i'm not buying it.

Almost all of Matthysse's KO's have come against Argentinaen fighters. In my experience, these type of fighters with padded records are more hype than substance.

I pretty much agree, but I always still do question Judah's mentality and is certiainly getting older.

I'm very interested to see how it unfolds.

1 thing is I would say Judah has been going down hill since Mayweather, he was certainly declined against Cotto and Clottey. His last win sort of looked good but he didn't look as good as he did earlier in his career.

Watching pre-Tyszu Judah also shows a far different fighter, he used to throw combination after combination in those days and fight at a high pace. He got gun shy after that

I hear you but 32 - 33 isn't really at all old for fighters these days, Zab's only been in one brutal fight with Cotto so theres not much wear and tear, but he does lack focus and thats what makes this interesting.
