I think Ty took a bit of William Dibby's soul when they had that brutal spar all those years ago.

Potential super fight in a few years if they both keep winning. Will is not ready for Dib as yet but may be in 12 months or so.....

Well everything makes more sense now i was wondering why dib was so dark on Willy.

Far from a fan of idiot Billy Dib, but its hard disagree regarding Will Tomlinson's paper IBO belt.

Yeah Will needs to step up his level of opposition. The Green machine is close to retiring and he will have to make it on his own. No more feasting on bums ranked 60+ on Green undercards. Agree would be good to see in a year if Will progresses.

If Dib has any balls he would challenge John or Yordan. The result would bethe smae both times

Dib is just keeping the IBF title warm till a real top 10 featherweight fights him...

Dib will vacate the title very soon imo. He struggles to make weight these days and would be eaten alive by the top 10 featherweights.

Maybe so, however Dib is the best Australian we have at that weight. Tomlinson is a good domestic boxer and may one day be on the verge of being world class but isn't as well rounded as Dib and is too one dimensional to seriously bother him. Will does a good job of bullying and having his way with boxers who get intimidated by his style, but Dib is way too experienced and has too many tricks to let Will get to him.
Dib has been a stand out since the amateurs, if it wasn't for a motorbike accident he would of been an Olympian. I know he associates himself with ****wits and comes across as a grub, but in all honesty based purely on his boxing he is one of our best.

Dib's IBF title shouldn't be that highly regarded based on how he won the title and who he's defended it against. But in any case, Tomlinson's IBO title is far from any better.

If Dib can beat a legit top 10 featherweight in his next fight then his status as IBF world champion will gain signficant credibility, something he probably doesn't have at present.

Being the best in AUS isnt really much of a statment, especially at that weight division, AUS has a very small pool of boxers, we dont even have 10 featherweights (check ANBF ratings if you dont belive me). Compared to the world scene, USA fighters, top 10 featherweights he isnt even a stain on the wall and would be DQL in USA if he applied the same tactics, he should have been DQL in AUS a number of times, in particular the yamaguchi fight, whom he didnt even give a rematch.

The only thing the guys got going for him is his speed, he has no power and only appears to have power when he fights boxers who shouldnt even be lacing up the gloves anymore or have only had 2 weeks notice for the fight and havent even trained like he did with Mick Shaw.
