Will Tomlinson vs. Malcolm Klassen RBR

There is impassioned debate in Tomlinson's corner, involving the ref.

Are they petitioning to send it to a TD? That would be the wily (if less than valiant) course.

Round 9

Tomlinson is coming forward and keeping his gloves down by his trunks. Klassen is running, not looking to remain close enough to so much as pot shot. Tomlinson cautiously lumbers in after him anyway, hunched a bit low. Lunging double jab by Tomlinson. Klassen tosses a few throwaway jabs while circling away. Tomlinson doubles a jab and crashes over into Klassen's arms with a right hand. Klassen is fluttering the jab, dusting Tomlinson's upper skull with it. Tomlinson rushes in and eats a straight right, below his cut. Klassen dances around him trickling in jabs, enough to edge a frame in which neither connected much.

Round 10

Tomlinson doubles a jab and misses, finishing his trajectory under and around Klassen's jaw as the slippery challenger writhes and shimmies away. Klassen cuts donuts around him, popping the jab. NICE jab-uppercut combo by Klassen from the outside as Tomlinson steps guilelessly to him without throwing a set-up jab or anything, still keeping his arms low. Tomlinson's head cracked back sharply from that.

Round 11

Tomlinson is walking into jabs haplessly. Tomlinson is looking for big power shots that Klassen isn't about to let himself get touched with. Graceful ballet turns and skipping retreats by Klassen when Tomlinson charges in with overhands. Tomlinson finally dusts off his jab and tries using it to set up the power, but Klassen is still able to anticipate and dodge in plenty of time. When they reset, Klassen has the jab flowing out like a red carpet for Tomlinson. Impatient with all the movement, Tomlinson swings his right arm out behind himself and shrugs openly at Klassen, goading him into a brawl. Klassen isn't having it.
