On the undercard, Garth Wood stopped Virgil Kalakoda in the 2nd after dominating the early action with his jab.

Getting all up in there. The end came one uppercut later.

Although it wasn't much of a contest, Garth seemed jubilant about it and he shared a moment of sportsmanship with Virgil.

Those are screen caps off my phone, on which I viewed Wood vs. Kalakoda on my way into work. (which is why there wasn't yet a RBR up)

    Not horrible quality, considering. :yep

I really don't know how it's possible... probably because it doesn't happen very often that I'm wrong :bart

Tomlinson has KD his opponent in R1

Referee is allowing Tomlinson to push down and towards the ropes a little to much.

Tomlinson left eyes is smashed, bleeding but fortunately it doesn't seems to be bluing his vision.

Malcolm Klassen is technically better but, peasant style wins this one due to aggression, dirty tactics work-rate and the KD.

Those kidney shots during clinching and holding him down, made me root for Klassen.

Not enough power in his punches for Klassen, Tomlinson is walking trough them.

Klassen footwork while getting away is pretty embarrassing, looks like running from his opponent.

One quick note about Tomlinson's IBO super featherweight title reign:

All four of the opponents whom he beat to capture the vacant belt and defend it thrice now as of this morning - Herrera, Ruiz, Berry & Klaassen - are each ranked outside the IBO's own top 40. :!: Without looking I can suss that none are in any of the major sanctioning bodies' top 50.

Don't expect Tomlinson's handlers to let him leave Victoria or import any steps up beyond this plateau.
