Naw, I don't think he will KO Thompson, but I do believe Toney will win by comfortable decision.

I hope Toney loses or wins ugly and then retires.

A decision win maybe, a ko's too much of a reach

seriously those who think toney has a geniune chance of ko'ing thompson really disrepect wladimir lol

i mean, thompson went 11 rounds with wladimir and ate some hard shots before being ko'ed.

i highly doubt an overweight, 40 year old former middleweight is going to ko someone with a solid chin and also is much taller than he is.

then again being a wladimir fan means i can't see the possiblity while haters believe toney can knock someo one out because he would generate just as much power as wladimir. :rofl

sure i know there is also timing and accuracy that can make up for power, but toney's accuracy and timing is going down the gurgler every fight, and his lack of reach and conditioning will also make his punches like pitter pats.

if anything we should be wondering if thompson will be the first man to ko or tko toney :D

:good you know thompson's fight w/ wlad helped him grow in confidence and he should only improve a little bit and no way he's gonna be intimidated fighting little toney. thompson ain't a world beater, but overall he's a capable very big hw who should be able to do well against toney if he fights a smart fight.

Thompson is in shape and has the fundamentals, he will throw enough punches to decision Toney.

Toney needs to either get in shape or retire, he has now become a trial horse.

  11. Toney is going to lose this fight, he hasn't knocked anyone out in over 5 years, and ancient Holyfield's corner stopped that one when Holy was still on his feet, Toney's power is ****ing weak at heavyweight:deal and a 40yr old fat 5-10 bucket of lard isn't going to get inside or outwork a guy who's 6-6 with an 82 inch reach, who's younger and busier:-( it ain't gonna happen, if Sam Peter beat FATTY that easily in their 2nd fight Thompson will do it as well.

The thing about it is that Peter boxed the pants off of Toney, controlling, hurting, and actually dropping Toney with the jab!

Toney may very well school Thompson, but he'll never KO Thompson.... Toney is too old and short, and lacks leverage and power at 225+ pounds....:-(

I think that Thompson will win this fight. It is hard to imagine Toney handling such a tall guy. Besides, Thompson has the skills. He is a very good fighter overall.
