I haven't seen the guy personally but I know he was a quality amateur. Does he have the right style to be a champion?
no, he is european level at best. doubt he could get past helenius or pulev. Joshua, Wilder, Fury demolish him with ease
His handlers wouldn't let him anywhere near Helenius after the Kownacki fight. While he may be past his best, chinny the Nordic nightmare has found his power again and is a very dangerous fight for most of the division.
Breland was a good fighter regardless of the expectations placed upon his career.. His chin was not the best but he gave it all as a fighter..
Breland had mad skills but his chin was one of the very worst, and he clearly did not want to be a professional fighter. Do you not remember when they matched him against that pudgy lightweight as a title defense, and he almost got knocked out before the guy suspiciously, for no good reason, quit between rounds? His entire professional career was a manufactured fraud, which I honestly believe is why they got him involved with Wilder. He is a guy who knows the score.
If he has serious pro backing, the answer is yes. There are 10 world title belts to choose from. That's plenty. Getting a title belt isn't about ability past a certain level. It's about promotional backing. Anyone better than Charles Martin with enough promotional power to get him into their country could have become a champion during this generation, for example.
