If he cleans up the division and then proceeds to go on a 20 defense title reign, perhaps. Let's be honest though, even if he gets all the belts back (and he very well may, I think he will), he's not gonna stick around long enough to have an extended reign. He's gonna mentally say **** it eventually. That's his M-O. My answer is no, he will not become an ATG
He might beat Wilder, but then Wilder might get KOed 5 times in a row by new heavyweights. Wilder's style depends on his athleticism and once he'll get older even third rate fighters will be knocking him out. If Fury will have only ancient Klitschko and Wilder on his resume he won't be anywhere near top 20. He needs more top wins. Fury does have potential, but he needs to fight some good fighters.
He just looks awkward, but he has good reflexes, power, explosiveness and speed. Combined with his height and reach it's a dangerous combo, before speed and reflexes start to go.
The path is there. He beat THE MAN while he was THE MAN. Then the hiatus happened. Surprisingly he has come back strong, a Wilder draw and win would be huge despite his limitations. If Joshua recovers enough to be a big win that would solidify him in a good spot. After that its all about longevity which defines most greats, doubt he has the mindset for that though.
Yes after beating an old Wlad , drawing with Doenkay Windmill and of course beating the 7th best German HW he is clearly an ATG. smh. Seriously he is a very skilled boxer but he has a loooooooooong way to go to ATG status. I very much doubt he has the staying power to keep in top shape for the next 5 years which is what it would take.
