I think he has the aura of greatness around him at this point, he does the unexpected and seems to come out on top, which is a trait of a great fighter, he can think and adapt. He's not there yet though, he needs to beat the other top heavyweights and further build his legacy. the question really is will he self destruct in the meantime, not preparing, losing discipline etc. Hopefully not, the qualities are there, like him or not.
Not only no, but HELL NO! His best win against Klitschko was the worse heavyweight championship fight I have ever seen. The fact that this thread can be made shows the pitiful state of heavyweight boxing today.
Bowe was far easier to hit than Fury so was Norton who was far more predictable and Baer. Fury would have beaten Page easily also.
The only thing that made sense there was the 5 years comment, he will be 34-35 and slowing down as will every other top heavy right now, pointless comment, Wilder will be around 38.
hang so this is list of those beating fury, or vitali. lets go fury then, but make it harder. 25 frm the last 25 years. vitali byrd lewis rahman tua ike cunningham ruiz Bruno tyson holy bowe mercer akinwade mcall mercer moorer ruiz jnr foreman povetkin g jones huck possibly prime wlad too.
Many here say Vitali Klitschko is an ATG , but how can he be an ATG and not Fury. Because he has title defenses? In that case Wilder must be an ATG too since he's only two defenses away from matching Vitali's 11. Plus he never lost and drawing with Fury is much better than quitting against Byrd and dodging the rematch. Fury is greater than Vitali K: Change My Mind.
Cmon fella he has only beat an aged vlad. And drew with wilder . He beat a guy on Sunday that should have been nowhere near a Vegas show . Fury is a good heavyweight and I mean good not great. He is the best out of the current crop of the top 3 but I think he could come unstuck against sone of the younger lot coming up .
The younger lot coming up can`t box like Fury at all, the biggest threat will be Usyk, he`s miles better than any young heavyweight today.
